Lower Spine MRI results

Hi

I had the MRI last Saturday..went back to Chiropractor on Monday and said MRI is clear for any tumor , abcesse etc...he said normal wear and tear and nothing that would effect nerves....He saw a little spot (forgot what he called it).He said I don't need to go for bloodwork as he was more concerned if he saw a tumor or mass..So he said he feels comfortable adjusting my lower spine now...which is fine....but I'm still sore...Could of been from him twisting my head around...Felt like the exorcist for a minute..hehehe and then proceeded to body slam me while I was twisted up...hmmm and they get paid for that??? So I guess that's it... I have gone to him twice more this past week and he told me that I should try to drink more water and eat a bananna a day to see if it helps with cramping in leg...He said being dehydrated can cause cramping and spasms...He said who knows maybe it would help....I figure it is worth a shot to try ;o)

Hi guys,

I only had MRI of lower spine..nothing else...I go see chiro tomorrow...my back feels okay..better than when I first went...I last saw him Thursday last week so ...either my back is feeling better or the adjustments are kicking in..I told him I did not feel better after the adjustment when I left his office but I think over time the more he adjusts is better...I am twitching or should say jerking...and have to buy banannas...;o) have to ask tomorrow...

Good to hear that nothing nasty showed up on your MRI.

I was curious if the adjustments had helped you neck/headaches?????

A banana a day keeps the cramps away....
Take care, Theresa

Hi jibs

Thanks for the update - I was wondering how you got on.

Phew! No cause for alarm then. Bananas sound like a good idea. Not sure about the body slamming part though.  How's your upper c-spine and brain stem?

Can you get potassium table salt in the US? It's another way of ingesting it and good for people with high blood pressure. Have you tried a magnesium supplement. I've been taking it for the last 6wks or so and seem to notice fewer little jumping beans in my legs and shoulders. I think Mg has a beneficial effect  re cramps/spasms.

Do you have further appts with chiro? What about neuro?

hugs
