the first of my blood tests back.

Well the general blood test to check normal stuff like iron, and kidneys cholesterol came back. They have highlighted a few areas they need to talk to me about when i see them.

Haemoglobin                    11.4
sodium                             134
Cholesterol                        5.9
Iron                                   10
Transferrin saturation          19

So 19 more blood tests to come back yet lol.

I have had low haemoglobin before but no one takes no notice.

My cholesterol does my head in because i eat NOTHING with fat or cholesterol in it lol and yet it is always 5.9.

I have no idea what TS is lol.

The rest were all borderline or spot on.

So shall be interesting to see what comes up next lol.

I am so glad you are finally moving forward. When do you go back?

We don't eat much with cholesterol either, and normally my cholesterol is 135-140, normal in the US is considered to be between 140 and 180, but eating the same thing, even at lunch usually, my husband's is usually right at 200. (eating a more typical American diet, his dad's was over 600 when he had his heart attack!)  I've read somewhere that only about 10% of your cholesterol comes from what you eat and your liver produces the other 90%. Also, interesting to me is that when your body is trying to repair myelin, it may produce more cholesterol in order to do that, and my last test had me at 195 w/ no change in diet!

I don't know much about blood tests. I tend to google them. I know enough about my labs (I have a hereditary blood disease) but that is about it.

The TS seems to be some sort of iron count. :) I am looking forward to hearing how the other tests come in.
