Causes of dizziness,

Can any one help me?  I had both thyroid glands removed.  Since having throid removed, Ive been having dizzy spell. I must also let you know that I have lupus and polymysistis(sp).  ENT doctor thought the dizziness was due to Meinere's, but had testing done three times with results being negative.  Has anyone had this problem?  If insight, please help.

Hi are you on any medication for your thyroid removal?

I have heard that having just one gland removed can cause some odd symptoms one of which is dizziness so it could be the fact you dont have both glands. I would assume you are on something like thyroxine?

Also Lupus flares can kick of dizzy spells.

I would check with your GP just make sure everything else is fine. LIke i said it could be the glands not being there that could be causing this.

I am unfamiliar with your diagnosis but was wondring if you should ask the doc, If it was not the ENT was the one who took tyroid out, if there is a connection or your PCP. I am sorry I don't know if this could cause anything like dizziness..Do you get migraines with dizziness? If the ENT doc can not figure it out maybe talking with them or PCP can tell you the next step. maybe it is a lupus connection.
I am sure someone can come along with other suggestions.
