Maria, keep us posted on what the doc says. I'm worried about you.
Hugs

Hey Ladies.
Yes. it's everywhere!!!
How about in your food?
Traces of Hexane (a neurotoxin) have been found in baby formulas!
Hexane is used in in food manufacturing in a process to extract DHA and ARA (omega 3 and 6) from soy, algae and soil fungus to add to baby formulas and other foods items. Traces of hexane during this process may find their way into our food.
Our food safety and inspection agencies (FDA in the U.S and Health Canada) assure us that this is a very common and "safe" process even if traces of Hexane end up in the final food product. I don't trust those guys!
Would any mother knowingly give her baby traces of a neurotoxin?
I had a client whose baby had serious issues because of the infant formula containing traces of Hexane. A known popular brand using GM soy to extract DHA to add to the infant powder, apparently because it promotes brain health!!!
When I read anything soy in products-unless it is from organic and sprouted soy-I advise people to RUN the opposite direction! lol!
As for the air quality, well, you can choose to live in the country side
or detox-detox-detox !-comprehensive and 3-4 times a year, if you live in a
larger city or where pollution is more prevalent.
And don't hand around the garage-unless you want to get a buzz! lol!
Cheers!
Niko
Wow, what does your doctor say about these numbers? It does make a person wonder what's in our air these days.
Laura
Yes i see it is in gasoline. I wonder if it was all the travel, and hanging about in the garage.
I dont ever use solvents omg no way. My husband uses lots of stuff to clean his engines, i think i will blame him lol.
I looked at my test results again and they are:
Isopropyl Acetone 106 should be max 110
Pentane 70 should be max 50
Perchlorethylene 51 should be max 50
It makes you wonder just what we breath in doesnt it.
scary or what lol.
I read that chemical is in car exhaust. Scary if it causes levels that high just from standing in the car shop garage. Makes you wonder what it's doing to the mechanics. 22.5 is way above the normal. Wow!
I was thinking about what you said about hating the smells of chemicals. When I was a small child, I always loved the smell of the plastic in the baby dolls I got for my birthday and Christmas. I still like the smell of that plastic. LOL. Weird, I know.
