I am still in Limbo Land and not getting any better.

what you describe is precisely what i experienced.  i had the static electricity ball first one night and at the same time was drenched in sweat and had incredible pain in the back of my head and down my spine.  i had the lava lamp show on and off for a while afterwards.

hmmmm.  things just get curiouser and curiouser.

I don't have an explanation for the "electric light show" yet. Probably the best way to describe it is "seeing" a muted color lava lamp or one of those static electricity balls whith my eyes closed while trying to fall asleep.

Somebody recently posted on the MS forum about something similar and I put my experience up there to see if others have the same symptoms. It was suggested to the original posted that this could be optic neuritis, but I have never seen that in the list of symptoms. Just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean that its out of the realm of possibilities.

Nice of you to pop in. I have not read your updated journal yet but will. I am sorry you are still not well and have no true answers yet..Limbo *****....(The people are great tough ..LOL). I wish you all the hopes of finding your answer..I know it is hard..we are all here..

i just read your journal update and your timeline.  thank you for posting that as it can be so educational to see what others have gone through in detail.

just out of curiosity, has anyone ever made heads or tails of the "electric light show" you had while falling asleep?  the same thing happened to me a few weeks after the major onset of my illness in early '09, but it was never addressed.
