Hello Manny.

First, let’s talk about what kind of pleasure you “expected.” Most men’s ideas about sex come from movies, videos, etc., and don’t generally reflect what’s real for women. In fact, most of what you've seen and heard is just entertainment, not reality.

It’s important that you learn all about sexual response and how to communicate with a partner. I guarantee that once you have this information, you’ll be on your way to a happy sex life.

I want to recommend a book for you, which will teach you all about how women respond sexually, as well as how men respond. From this book, you can learn all about women’s sexual anatomy and pleasure. The book is called “The New Male Sexuality,” by Bernie Zilbergeld, Ph.D. It’s widely available online, both new and used.

Now that you’ve decided to be sexual with others, it’s also important to remember what we say here at Dr. J’s House of Fun: Play Hot, But Play Safe! Be sure to use condoms and spermicides. Dr. J

At your age sex doesn't come as easy to girls as it does to boys. For many girls their first experiences are painful and uncomfortable. Communication is a huge part of making girls happy - understanding and recognizing what she likes and dislikes really helps. Unfortunately at your age most girls won't understand what turns their bodies on yet. If you have a good relationship with a girlfriend, this is where the excitement can be found - in exploring and discovering each other's turn-ons together.

Take your time and make sure she's comfortable. And watch how you come across. The more you pressure a girl to feel a certain way during sex, the more likely she is to clam up which actually makes it harder to get pleasure from sex.

No problem.  Sex is a learned ability and quite honestly you and your partner are both going to largely be horrible at it until you learn how to watch each others bodies for the unspoken cues.
