Sad, yet true Story about a depressed teen
there was a 11-year old girl who enjoyed what life had to offer.Then one day in june her father died(2oo5). It was horrible,her mom had to call 9-11 and then take her and her little sister to her dad's neices house at 2 in the morning.the two girls mom came back around 7am and told them that he had died.They couldnt believe it.The girl went straight to the bathroom and stared at herself in the mirror.a few minutes later she came out and didnt say anything.She couldnt feel any emotions except confusion,abandonment and sadness.
2 years later...
her mom got another boyfriend and they both did drugs together.the teen(J******) also was told that the man who died was her little sisters father and her mom didnt really know where her father was.then a few months later children services contacted them and said that they located them and asked if they wanted to contact him.her mom asked where they found him and the worker said he was in the county jail.j******'s mom hasnt talked to him since he left her before the teen was born. They first had to get a test done to see if he was the father, and he was.So, they went to see him a week after they got the results. he was so excited to finally meet j******,but he was really ashamed of having to meet her while he was in jail.
she found that they had some things in common like they both love to laugh at anything and music.but they only talked on the phone only a few time and wrote several letters to each other. J*** forget that she promised that shed write every tuesday but she focused on school.
A few months later...
The issues with her mom had gotten worst.J*** mom was arrested so she called her sisters cousin and she and her sister were picked up. They stayed there for about two months when her cousin finally decided to take the girls into her custody. She took the girl's mom to court and there mom lost.But the girls were fed up with there mom doing drugs and they wanted to stay...and so they did. They went to the same school for the rest of that year and then transferred to another school closer to where they now live. after the cases workers left them alone for a few months the girls felt like they didnt belong there at all.J*** was always getting accused of stealing money or eating something without asking. She NEVER stole any money (only if it was a quarter or small amount of change laying around) and ate a snack a few hours before dinner.
j*** started to cutting herself because she felt so angry but didnt want to leave her sister or her new friends and she also didnt want to become violent to others around her. she had a crush on one of her friends and it was like something she never felt before it was wierd.She couldnt wait to get home from school and wait for him to come over because he was really friends with her cousin,which is a year younger.He always got what he wanted. But when J***"s grandma gave her a friends old laptop he had such a bad attitude about it and told her that she was spoiled and got whatever she wanted,which wasnot true. that was the first time she talked to her since she moved and her grandma even got him and his sister something for christmas or if it was someone elses b-day...it seemed fair to her.
At 15...
J*** had only seen her mom twice,talked to her grandma 7 times,seen her about 5,and talked to her brothers once at christmas. As a freshman in highschool, she had only 3 boyfriends.The first one was off of a dare and the boy was dared to ask her out and she really liked him.A month later,after he broke up with her so he could ''focus on school'' she found someone else. Her friends hooked her up with a guy in there gym class, but they didnt know he was a senior. He saw her inner beauty and saw the fun,kind,happy person which was the opposite of what she felt inside 95% of the time.
HE was suspended for two months and when he came back she didnt feel the same as she did and knew that she wouldnt be able to hang around him anymore because he was about to graduate. Her cousin found out only after he called her at 8 in the morning and asked if j*** was going to church and then he said it was her boyfriend to call him back when she was able to. j*** got scared when she found that out because she thoght she wasnt allowed to have a boyfriend. after they talked about how theyre mostly friends she was ok about it.
A week later at lunch she asked her friends for advice on how to break up with someone and they knew who she meant and that she was to scared to do it herself. So, her bff"s boyfriend went to the boy"s class poked his head in and all he said was that "man,im sorry but your girlfriend said it was over". She didnt know until after lunch when her friend told her that he really did it. Her ex was so sad about it that he entered the talent show and she swears that the song he sang was for her when she thought he said... "and i hate you girl..."
she couldnt belive that her school board actually thinks that merging two schools toghether is going to be a good thing...ha they were rivals ever since both schools were built and a saying was said, "rivals for life...". Her school had a program where they chose 7 girls and boys from each school to shadow eachother while they were at the other school for a day. first they came to her school and they met up with each other. then they were paired up into 2s and were sent to there first class. later j*** learned that her shadow had a good time and they got along really well.also that her shadow was the most stereotypic person at the other school that was chose to see how they really acted.mostly everyone changed to positve thoughts on the merge.
So far J*** is doing really well in 10th grade and she had gotten 3 honor rolls freshman year(missed 4th by 1 c) and is now trying to help others who have gone through a similar event as what she went through.

it is my story, although a lot of others are probably worse than mine...
I am trying to work out what to say here and its not easy ,your story is certainly interesting you write well, I am assuming its your story ?
