Stroke, did I have one?

I posted earlier that my Neurologist said that I had a ministroke.
Now, almost a year later we had a new MRI of the brain done, because They still could not find any causes of my leg problems.
My Back Specialist ( I had spine surgery Aug. 05) tells me that there is nothing wrong with my back, but the MRI show now that I never had a stroke and there are not spots.
Why are doctors not honest and tell the truth if they can't explain whats wrong with me? I am still a medical mystery and now have more pain, not even the hydrocordone helps me anymore. When I lay down I am ok, but as soon as I stand, sit or walk (with a walker) I have so severe pain from toes up to lower back.
I can only explain it as if there are 2 bands in the back of my knie and if I am up these bands get real tight and even my muscles get hard like a rock and hurt so bad that I start shacking.
my left foot is cramping to the inside, and so far nothing has helped, physical therapy has rather made me worse. Now I can hardly drive my car because of the pain and jerking.
Please help.

Why did you have spine surgery?   It still sounds like you may have a problem in your spine -- perhaps, spinal stenosis? -- I would go to a different spine specialist and have it checked out.  Also, have EMGs done on your legs to see if there are any pinched nerves.   Hydrocodone may not be the best therapy for this pain.  If your doctors feel that it is safe, you should consider facet joint or epidural spine injections.  But have another specialist take a look first.

Just a thought, but you might want to try accupuncture.
