funny sense of humor

I had a tia in July of 2006, Since then I can;t seem to control my emotions.  I know that when it is important, i can't help but to laugh and this is nonstop.  Also i get very emotional and can cry at the drop of a hat.  Will this continue to be like this or is there something that i can do to help myself?

What you're talking about is emotional liability.  It's common after a stroke.  You can try to think of something calming or peaceful to control it.  It does get better.
