Suffered similar restorative (gentle) yoga which can be specialized for stroke survivors helped tremendously in regaining movement and taking remaron increased my weight back to 152 from 149
My husband had a left sided stroke on 3/24/09. His left arm and hand curls up and moves very little. does anyone know if Saeboflex would help him recover? The neurologist said he has passed the 6 months window of opportunity to get better. He has also lost a lot of weight and eats very little which makes both his arms and legs shriveled and weak. What can we do to increase his appetite? Can anyone who has purchased the hyperbaric oxygen chamber feel it has been worth the enormous cost as far as improving the ability to use both arm and leg in stroke recovery?
I can not provide you links but I've used hbot for 2 strokes. I believe it has helped. My research showed it increses oxygen which increases healing, (added more energy for me) but does not do that now that I'm better, adds 10x more stem cells into the body. helped my depression too. your experience will vary.
apologies to the hard work comment but some of the recovery is almost magical... if you provide the body with what it needs for healing and with brain injury oxygen is very important. I sttongly recommend it but suggest 20-40 treatments need more info call me

I would ask whomever is recommending this to you to provide independent research of its efficacy and not take anecdotal evidence that was just normal spontaneous recovery.
Stroke recovery is not magical, it is lots of extremely hard work.
