I had my stroke 10 years ago. I'm 42 now. I'm feeling sensations in my arm like it's "going to sleep". I'm active. What's up?

Numbness or paresthesia of the arm may be due to improper posture, injury to a nerve, lack of blood supply to an area and other medical conditions, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, diabetes, transient ischemic attack, underactive thyroid, certain medications, and even abnormal levels of calcium, potassium, or sodium in the body. Have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. Tests may be done to rule out the differentials mentioned. Take care and regards.
