Hell has frozen over!!!!!!!

We have been without a washing machine for weeks.  I've went to the laundry mat and washed what we absolutely needed and the rest has been piling up.  So yesterday we finally scraped together enough money to buy a new machine.  By the time we got home and hooked it up it was 9pm.   I started a load and then another right before going to bed at 10:30pm.    At 2pm I woke up and went to the livingroom because I heard a noise.  My husband was up folding clothes.  I asked what he was doing.  He said I know you are exhausted (I tell him this every night) and I know how much it bothered you to have the laundry piling up so I've been doing it for you.

I like the suggestion about doing something special for him and telling him why.  It's not too late, even making a favorite dessert would nail the point as long as he knew why.  Catch them doing something right and reward, reward, reward.

WOW!  That is SO sweet!  good thing you didn't kill him a few months back-  he came in handy afterall!  AND since he was up doing laundry you didn't have to hear his snoring!  LOL

I have been lucky enough that John has really been a terrific help around the house. He even made the boys' lunches last night and cooked dinner while I had Bub at the allergist. He said he plans on catching up on some of the neglected laundry while I am walking in SF. That would be nice!!

Oh I love it!!  What a sweetheart.  Do you think he could come to my house and "teach" my DH?  I am pretty sure Warren doesn't even know where we keep the washer/dryer.....

Oh, what a touching story!! Way to go Hubby!!!!! Maybe you should do something extra sweet for him "wink wink" and maybe he will continue to be a good boy!!!!!
