Just venting
I'm so sick of men. Do we actually need them in our lives? What real purpose do they serve? Companionship? Well, maybe, but only if there are no sports on. Support? See the above answer and add - only if its convenient for them. Sex? Well, don't really need them for that either - just a good set of batteries and that's usually better then them slobbering all over trying to find the right place. It's two thirty am here - husband can always sleep - its amazing how he rarely ever hears either of the girls in the middle of the night - and thinks that changing one diaper after he gets home from work is "helping out" Hope it doesn't wear him out. And would it kill him to occasionally say that I smell nice or look pretty? And if I hear one more time - "I'm sorry honey - I just don't think about it" I'm going to kill him and I'm still hormonal and I'm not sure that there is a court in this land that would convict me. I don't feel like I am getting any opportunity to bond with Alyssa - she's five weeks old today and all through maternity - I get to hold her while I feed a bottle and then I have to put her down because Abby needs some attention and some activity and I don't want Abby to feel neglected or left out because of her new sissy. But if I give Abby the attention she needs, then Alyssa is neglected and if I give Alyssa the time she needs - well, you get the picture. I don't even know why I bother getting a bath or washing my hair - who notices? I'd really like to just stay in bed and never come out. The babies don't stress me out nearly as much as their father who I'm never sure if I can count on or not for any help. It kinda feels like I am just this close to losing it and sitting down and crying for days. I just hate feeling this unhappy and upset about everything and its not like me to be this way and so now my vent is done. I'm going to go see if I can dig out an M&M from the bottom of my purse - I need some chocolate.

On a side note - everyone HAS to try the dark chocolate premium M&M's - one more reason why men are NOT needed - they are almost better then sex - hehehe

Men are obviously needed for sperm. Sperm Banks provide this wonderful thing - lol
They are also needed to fix the garbage disposal from time to time. I'm handier then hubby is - in fact - I have better tools then he does
Men are quite handy when there is heavy lifting to be done. Only handy when they aren't whining about how their backs hurts - give me a break - try a little back labor then whine to me!!!!!
Automotive repairs are icky, so men should handle that, too. Unless its adding air to the tires - its taking the car somewhere so someone else can work on it -

Now the latest update on the bottom of the purse - apparently its been a while since I cleaned out my purse - sadly, no M&M's - I did find a tampon (since I haven't had a period since Dec 08 - wow) the baby nail clippers that I "lost" and have since replaced and appt card for Abby from Oct 08 - I really should consider cleaning out my purse more often

That could work as well....lol. I smell a dirty diaper like 3 blocks away and he can't even smell it when it's right in his face. It's amazing to me.
mami, I'd teach Jay how to take his doo doo diaper off and toss it to daddy in the face... lol

I was also going to say we need their sperm. But we can always go to a sperm bank for that. I also couldn't understand how my fiance never heard the baby cry. Still to this day he doesn't hear him in the middle of the night. My favorite is when Jayden is walking around with a diaper full of doodoo and my fiance doesn't even smell it. Either he really has a bad nose or he's pretending like he doesn't smell it so I have to clean it. Now Jayden is old enough that I can tell him to get his diaper and bring it to daddy....lol.
oh... my gosh... this post is like I wrote it myself! Rebeka, I don't even have two kids (yet) and I feel so overwhelmed with ALL what you just described here!

Oh, and then when IIIIII (emphasize the I please) put her to bed (note: after taking her potty million times, giving a bath, giving her dinner, brushing her teeth, putting her in jammies, smear lotion all over her, give her her bottle ~which, I don't even wanna go there....~), then he starts giving me this 'dirty' looks, and 'cheesy smiles' and putting his stupid hand on my boob as he sexily whispers 'hey.... you wanna do it?'.

The question is, do we need men in our HOUSES, not in our lives. Men will always be necessary, but we should not be forced to live and interact with them on a constant basis.
