UGH!!!!!! I don't think

my headache is every going to go away.   It has been 5 days now.     I took 1000mg of ibuprofen at noon today and it did nothing.    I really want to put my head on my desk and take a nap.

I feel your pain! I too suffer from migraines, tension headaches and sinus headaches. I took Benedryl today for my horrible sinus headache that I woke up with this morning. Problem is that, Benedryl makes me way sleepy and when I don't sleep I get really mean then! It's wearing off now....which is good.

Hope you start feeling better!!!

And I agree with tatorbug....get Excedrin Tension. I use the one for migrain and it works wonders!

Hey, if it increases your production because you are not in pain anymore, I don't see why he wouldn't let you drink on the job!

OR,  you could try the other 1/2 of my remedy....  the Excedrin Tension-  I am telling you-  that stuff did really work...  is there a store close by you could run to!

I HATE having headaches!  I hope you feel better soon!

Did you go to work with the proper paraphernalia (full flask)?

Do you think you may be suffering from a rebound headache? I had to wean myself off of Ibuprofen before I was able to break the vicious cycle.

Seriously, I really hope you get some relief very soon!

The headache is getting worse again.    Wonder if my boss would let me drink on the job today.............   Guess I can make it through another day- only 6.5 hours to go.

It's a little better today.   I used an ice pack last night on my neck and it relieved some pain.      I also had a couple drinks (which I rarely do)

Yep, that sounds like a tension headache.  I once had one for well over a week, and it drove me nuts.  I finally went to the doctor, and I had to see a doctor I normally don't go to.  She ended up being more holistic, so she gave me a referral to a massage therapist.  That would be great, except when do I have time to go to massage therapy?  And what was that going to do about my headache right then?!  My psychiatrist ended up giving me a prescription, and it got rid of it.

I get the tension headaches (as well as migraine) and have found that rubbing on something with heat helps.  I have stuff that smells like camphor/eucolyptus or you can use some of the arthritis rubs.  Rub it in and try putting some pressure on some of your sore spots until they relax.  Ice can also help with the pain.  Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry about your headache. Try a different pain med since the ibuprofen isn't helping. Good Luck :0)

I suffer from migraines, so I feel your pain.

Yours sounds like a tension headache. They can actually last for up to a week. The good news is you only have 2 days to go. LOL

Hope you feel better real soon!
