Thyroid problems and healing from surgery

I am wondering I had a sural nerve biopsy June 9 2005 and it still hurts I was wondering if my having thyroid problems is causing it to heal slower. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was still waiting to be treated by my new family DR. and my TSH was 11.something.

Thanks for your time
Sue

I still recommend treating the hypothyroidism -- it is possible that it may slow healing, but not definite.

Thanks Dr. Still waiting for my Dr to get the past results and he was on holidays will try to get a hold of him this coming week. I am so frustrated waiting for him and I am losing more hair everyday. I been wanting treatment since I first found out I had a problem.

Thanks again
