i have hypothyroidism since i was 15 now im trying to get pregnant from the last yr and half but my menstural cycle is shortened to a 14 day cycle and doctors here in pakistan cant find the root cause for it seriouslly need ur help im sick n tired of having so much periods and desperately want to have a baby...

For hypothyroidism and pregnancy planning: goal TSH is 0.3--2.0 -- make sure yours is in this range.  For the periods, you may also need to see GYN specialist to see if something else may be the cause.

Dear Mr lupo i have been seeing many Gyn Specialists here in Pakistan got numerous of tests done and ultrasounds they cant find anything wrong and they keep putting me on diane 35 courses they say its due to my thyroid can u please tell if thyroid inefficiency may be causing my periods to be so irregular if that is the matter wat tests shld i get done to confirm this possibilty im currently taking 150 micro gram of leveothyroxine from merck pharma previously is taking 200 micro gram eltroxine by GSK but nothing is causing any effect in my periodic cycle
