Interpretation of Antibody Test, 5908, Please Help!?

28 y/o female, 5'0, 150lbs. diagnosed with "hypothyroid" though "Hashimoto's" is the label frequently used in office by Endo and Rheumatologist. Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia after running tests to clear Lupus and other like autoimmune diseases. Not really feeling better yet. In fact, feeling worse.
Medication: 75mcg of Levothyroxine, 5mcg of Cytomel, 1200 units of vitamin per day for the last six months.

My numbers from initial diagnosis, 06/13/05:
165 lbs.
Thyroid Peroxidase(TPOAb): 5908 H IU/ml (0-34 ref. interval
WBC: 11.1 H k103E/uL (4.0-10.5 ref. interval)
TSH: 2.189 uIU/ml (.350-5. 500 ref. interval)
Total Cholesterol: 233 H mg/dL (100-199 ref. interval)
LDL: 163 H mg/dL (0-99 ref. interval)
I restrict foods high in animal fats, and had for the previous two years-- family history of high Cholesterol and other symptoms.

Most recent test, 02/06/07:
157 lbs.
Thyroid Peroxidase(TPOAb):2141 IU/ml (0-34 ref. interval)
TSH: 4.157 uIU/mL (ref. interval .350-5. 500)
(No lipid panel for comparison)

Other abnormal results:
Neutrophils 77 H% (40-74 ref. interval)
Nutrophils (Absolute) 8.5 H k10E3/uL (1.8-7.8 ref. interval)

Questions:
I suspect that my problem is related to the pituitary, something like Cushing's. What exactly counts as "significantly elevated" for Thryoid Peroxidase (TPO) Ab? Should I be tested for Lyme's, Cushing's? I really feel as though there is something bigger happening in my body! What else should I be aware of? Where do I go next?  What other tests should be done?

Thank you both for your support.  My doctors have insisted that I'm just depressed, but I'm not.  I know depression, and I know that isn't true of what is happening to me right now.  I hurt worse than I've ever hurt before.  Something is not right.  I feel like I'm going to wither away.

I'm 28 and I hobble around like I'm 80.  I can't help it, I'm in so much pain.  It's clear to everyone around me that something serious is happening.  Only those who don't know me well think I have been making excuses.  I have been a hard worker and an honest person all my life.  I've never been overweight or lazy; I've never been sedentary or weak.  All of a sudden I struggle to walk and maintain my balance when I stand up.

I'm afraid.  I haven't gotten better in three years of levo therapy.  I think it is a pituitary problem.

What do I do?  Where do I go?

Columbia is next on my list; I can't seem to find a doctor out here who is willing to consider this beyond a surface level.

Not knowing anything about you this happened to me. There has to be some type of immune response going on in your body that your body is fighting. Mine was my Pancreas. Due to my Gallbladder not functioning. You need to find a DR who will listen to you. Believe me I'm a Nurse & "they had me even thinking it was all in my head".

Increase in TPO AB does mean that there is something going on w/ an Immune Response!!!!

I spent 1 month in 4 different hospitals being very ill after my GB surgery. What ever is going on find a DR who cares.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Cushing's is rare - could ask to be tested, but doubt this is the case.

The TSH is too high - dose of levo (or cytomel) should be increased in most cases.  If not getting better, then consider additional evaluation.
