Well put!  That frustration can bring out some really serious feelings and I personally allowed mine to cause me to be suspicious of people I shouldn't have. I won't lie, the bad experiences of being put off, patronized etc... when trying to get help, were hurtful but I always come back to the realization that there are excellent medical people out there, worthy of respect and confidence.
I know you and others on here had experiences like this too and by talking about them, you are not directing it at the medical community in general/as a whole. In fact in my opinion, talking about these things in the right perspective can actually save others from the same problems. An example: My Aunt almost died earlier this month (Dec) by being overmedicated, plus prescribed wrong medication. A little awareness of this, by relating these incidents, could actually save lives, prevent injury.
Patients should also relate success stories and brag on great treatments they are getting.

Jim, when folks are hurting and frustrated and desperate, words are said and even though it may appear one is attacking someone...we patients are attacking ourselves and the situation, really.  Been there.  Most if not all health care providers should and do understand where patients in pain are coming from.

It is the Holiday season and I wanted to jump on here long enough to apologize for posts I made sometime back in which I was unkind to Dr. Mark and Med-Help. Please forgive me.
I've lost several friends to diseases I felt weren't treated and ones who ended their lives because they couldn't get treatment. It profoundly affected me. When I had onset of Hashimoto's and CFS, it also profoundly affected me (suicidal), always having been a strong man, hard worker and this changed but I was told it was "in my head" until blood tests revealed it.  I'm not goimg over this to re-ignite it, just wanted to cast some understanding on why some of us out here feel hurt. I also want to say we have to be so careful not to overreact and begin suspecting all medical professionals of mal-treatment etc... There are many great Dr.s saving lives and improving health and they have one of the greatest callings on earth!
I made statements on that last post "I hope Dr. Mark has true compassion" etc... and implied Med-Help is "commercial ony". The fact is, Dr. Mark is a good man and Dr. and Med-Help is helping people in huge numbers.
Again I'm sorry and believing the good Lord for complete inner-healing for my past hurts. I'm committed to never wrongfully exert my hurts on other again.
