Pain when touching throat, Sore throat, Acid Reflux

I have had so many problems since 09 starting with complex headaches, etc. found a large complex cyst took the ovary out finally in March of this year. Before the surgery I was complaining of pain in stomach and acid reflux. Thought the pressure would have stopped after the cyst/ovary was gone. In June, same symptoms, (even though they check said my left ovary ok), actually I have a huge complex cyst that grew and they want to wait, told me I have GI issues, did an endoscopy and colonoscopy, said gastritis, duodenitis, esophogitis, still can't figure out why, the acid reflux is not staying down, popping Zantac and prevacid and barely eating. Now my throat hurts when I touch it, I have a sore throat and gi problems going on. Now having hot flashes at night, I am 41. Do you think that I could end up with cancer because the throat is hurting now? I also had to go to another hospital and found out I have a small hiatel hernia too. Why would the GI let me suffer and end up with cancer in the throat, all they could tell me was maybe constipation. Do you think that my hormones even though not showing up in tests could actually cause some of this? I live in FL and haven't met one doctor that is knowlegeable about anything yet to date.

Is the current cyst in the thyroid?  If so it may impact your throat area, but reflux is very common and not always easy to treat.  "hormones" would not usually cause these GI issues.  Have you been tested for gastroparesis (slow emptying of stomach -- making reflux more likely)?

No, infact I have not. Infact, they just said constipation and not running further tests. What tests can be performed to determine if you have a cyst in the thyroid, they said I might be just prone to cystic activity. So the good thing is that I ruled out hormones. I will try and find a new GI doctor but I haven't been impressed with the knowledge of physicians. You were the ONLY physician who probably found out what I have. What could cause the slow emptying of the stomach.?
