Papillary cancer

I have had headaches since the onset of thyroiditis a year ago.  Now I hve been diagnosed with papillary carcinoma of thyroid and am being scheduled for thyroidectomy.  I want to know if you think there is any relationship between my headaches and my thryoid cancer.  Thank you

It's possible.  Mostly headaches are seen with hypo or hyperthyroidism - but there may be something with the thyroid cancer but no definite relationship.  Will be curious to see if the headaches improve after surgery -- I have seen people feel better after surgery for thyroid cancer and it is independent of thyroid hormone levels.

My daughter's nodule was pushing against her jugular vein and she got very dizzy.  Did the ultrasound show any compression of the vascular structure, nerves, muscles, etc.
