Proper dosage

Thank you dr for answering my qustion about lasertherapie, i it was very helpfull. let me ask you the following : for 4 yares I have been taking 100 mcg oh tyrixine. I wont to show you my last yera lab and ultrasound results.wlie swiched to 50 mcg last june myFT4 has dropped to 12 (12-22 refr.german LAB) and TSH was 1.93 (0,4-3.8) Mocrosomal Thyroid antibodies 670 (>100) Thyreoglbuline Autoantibodies 2100 (>100). tyrroid Gland was inlarged with some evidence of nodules.After one month of 100mcg of Tyrixine FT4 was 18 (12-22) and TSH O.65 (o.4-3.8) I kept taking the same dosage Ocober FT4 15 ( 12-22) TSH 1.42 (o.4-3.8) December FT4 14 (12-22) TSH 0.93  TSH and utrasound showed no nodules and size was twice reduced February FT4 17 ( 12-22) and TSH 0.23 ( o.4-3.8) Mocrosomal Thyroid antibodies 720 (>100) Thyreoglbuline Autoantibodies 3100 (>100). doctor put me on 0.75 mcg for one month and look what happened  FT4 12  TSH 3.88 (o.4-3.8) utrasound showed again twice  enlarged thyroid . Now that you saw the dynamic of my tests, what do you suggest that I must do , what would be the right dosege and how should I take  the medicine. Please help.

thanks it was helpfull , is there a need for me to test FT3 , since so many memrbers speak about it and its importance? and another qustion : when in februaty THS came down to 0.23 (o.4-3.8) was it proper to put me for 6 weeks on 0.75 mcg of tyroxine? thanks again Dr. Lupo

Seems like the 100mcg dose seemed on target in terms of TSH and goiter size.  The thyroid antibodies indicate that Hashimotos' is the cause of the hypothyroidism/goiter - there is no need to keep testing the antibodies.
