Thyroid ?

For the last two years I have had to go in every 3 months to get my thyroid checked.  We are constanty going back and forth with the dosage. Right now I am taking synthroid 137 mg. Was taking the 125 and before that I was switching from the125 to the 115 every other day. I am so tired of going back every 3 months and having blood drawn. Is this normal ? Or should I think of seeing another dr.
