Throat Fullness/Discomfort

Hi. I am a 28 year old Female. I had nodules on the right lobe of my thyroid in 2004. Results of a fna were inconclusive so in Nov of 2004 I had my right lobe removed and the isthmus. I am on .075 mcgs of levothyroxine. In the last month i have developed a sore throat of sorts. I have had increased difficulty swallowing and a hoarse voice. I saw my primary care physician yesterday and I have no evidence of any virus or infection that coul dbe attributed to my symptoms. He also thought my left side (which is where most of the discomfort is) felt larger than usual. My labs were checked in oct and were normal. My pcp has suggested doing labs and also doing thyroid u.s. this mon. I was just wondering what else I should be asking my Dr. I know what I am feeling is not normal and I am starting to be very concerned. Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated.

From a thyroid standpoint - ultrasound and labs will help determine if it thyroid-related.

otherwise, an ENT can help sort out symptoms as these symptoms may be post-nasal drip/allergies, or heartburn/GERD.

The ultrasound should reveal, if the nodules are srtarting to form in the left lobe.
