My thyroid levels test fine, but I still need have low thyroid symptoms. Should I take a growth hormone test?

At age 7 I was diagnosed with hyper thyroid.  At age 50, I was diagnosed with partial hyper pituitary with hyperthyroid.  At age 45 an MRI found a small pituitary tumor, and now it is gone.  I have breast milk, low back pain, low stomach pain, dry skin, hair falls out, brittle nails, depression and the list goes on.  I need about 10-12 hours of sleep a night.  I have never weighed this much before in my life.  I am about 50 pounds over weight. Now my Endo is recommending the growth hormone test.  What do you think?

Thorough pituitary testing seems in order - GH testing would be part of this.
