Thank you. I have an appt with an endocrinologist in my area on Monday. I still don't have lab reults back yet.
Would have a thyroid ultrasound (not nuclear scan -- unless the TSH is low) and depending on the ultrasound findings, we sometimes need CT scan of chest to fully evaluate goiters/nodules that extend substernally. Most of these are bengin, but FNA biospy is needed.
Also wanted to add the only symptoms I'm having are a sore throat some hoarseness, weight gain, visible enlargement of left side of neck and swollen submandibular lymph node on the left.
