missed period

I have hypothryoid disease ( all new to me )  and my doctor has perscribed glucophage to me to helped with irreglar menstral cycles.  I am late this month (  never has happened)  and I have started to cut back on medication, is that normal to be late  because of medication switch I went from 2,000MGs daily down to 250MGs twice a day

hypothyroidism can definetly affect menstration and fertility. Are you taking synthroid at 250mgs?

What are you taking glucophage for?  Were you diagnosed with insulin resistance/PCOS?  

Did you have regular cycles on the higher dose of glucophage?
