This is an abnormal panel -- the T4 range would be helpful to interpret this. The TSH clearly points towards hypothyroidism. Are you taking the medication consistently? If you have been on synthroid for a while, then the consistency or absorption may be the problem.
I have never read of a T-4 that high. Could you have put the decimal point in the wrong place? Your TSH of 60.0 suggest hypothyroidism and requires treatment, unless you also put the decimal point in the wrong place.
If your T-4 is actuually that high might suggest someything else is going on with you.
GL,
Thyroid patient
My TSH is 68.8 right now. And, no, the decimal point is not in the wrong place. I have been put on .224 mcg of Synthroid. This has been a long battle, trying to get a medication to work well for me. But hopefully this one will do the trick.
If you have had a consistant high T4 this could be assumed you have an issue with conversion. Not converting the T4 is an issue and increases in medication may not solve the situation. What has your doctor suggested and was there a Free T3 test done?
