a little worried

i hit my head against my metal bunk bed tuesday. i didnt think i hit my head that hard, but i got a head ache a little later. i am in school and this last week was our last week. but every now and then i'll get dull headahes, and sometimes i feel pressure against my head. last night i got light headache and some pressure but it was also about 10 o clock. i'm just kinda worried that maybe i actually did hit my head hard enough to cause so damage but i dont know what kind.... if it is at all possible i'd like a quick response. thank you

thank you. i havent been worrying about it as much but still get the headaches

Last week faced the same problem . Went through Brain CT etc - everythng came back normal - but then the dizziness just dint go - met an ENT who said that its Post traumatic vertigo (fluids collect in your ear) and it will resolve within 2 - 3weeks.....feeling better with a dose of vertin 16mg everyday and some vestibular exercises...

Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Feel the area where you hit the head. If it is tender or sore then the headache could be due to that. Also take an OTC anti-inflammatory drug and see if it helps. If it does then in all probability things will settle down. However if the headache persists or if you have any other symptoms such as visual problems, numbness, memory loss etc, then rush to ER.
