Sharp pain in the head when nodding

Everytime I nod my head fairly vigorously, I feel a sharp pain at a certain part of my left brain. When doing day to day activities, everything is fine. It only happens when I nod my head for some reason. Anyone knows the reasons why this might be happening? Is it due to a lack of sleep or something?

Hi,

The headache due to nodding could be due a pinched nerve in the neck region or it could also be due a brain abcess or brain cyst. I would urge you to consult a neurologist immediately as it seems more than just due to sleep disturbance.
