Cervical position?

I have been tracking everything possible to conceive since December 2009 when my cycles came back after 11months off Depo-and I was on depo for about 6 years....so I got AF back in Dec 2009, got a BFP in March 2010, then had a m/c-suction and dnc in May 2010 :*******(
SO here we are finally "really" trying again...and just wondered about my cervical position tracking....I know when its getting high and soft..but have noticed it feels wider when it becomes softer....is that the "open" position of the cervix- S.H.O.W! Cause Im there right now if wider means open! YES!!! DH comes home from work at 3am, so time to BD before work-again-muahhhh they are gonna be like "wow your in a good mood again" just happy I had my smiley on my OPK and that everything feels like its ready to work in there......Babydust all over me and praying for a blessing this month in the baby department!!!

Good question, and good information, Ladies! I have been wondering a lot of the same myself.... also, my uterus is severely retroverted (tipped) so I always get confused by the position of the cervix -- can't really tell if it is high or low!

Yes, it will feel wider when it is open. Mine feels like you could almost fit your finger in. It also feels so soft and high that it feels like it has "disappeared". This may be TMI but when it is low and hard it feels like the head of the male part, for lack of a work the site will not block! Then it softens and feels like it blends in with a little hole in the middle, if that makes since. Hope that helps and as always lots of SSBD!!!!!
