2WW after Embryo Transfer?

I'm 36 and have been trying for a year to get pregnant. I just did my first IVF this month and now am in my 2WW. IVF wasn't terrible, but I'm not sure I want to do it again. So, my question is...Anyone else out there in their 2WW? How can I stop myself from chronically taking HPTs? I haven't taken one yet and am scheduled for my blood test next Thursday.

hi catjack. As you already know, I too am in my 2ww, after a 3d transfer. I am only 6 days past now, and I keep telling myself it is far too early. I also tell myself, that this is the closest I have felt to being pregnant so, I dont want to take that way by doing an HPT and it being negative. Plus I also feel that it is waaaaaaaaaay to early. I feel that I can hold off until the real deal which will be 1 week tomorrow. Willpower dear!! Thinking of you, and if you ever need to chat, I am here for you :) I am sending sticky baby dust your way!
