45+ and ttc?

Hello, I was wondering if there are any women out there who are 45 or older and ttc?  Either by IVF, donor, or their own eggs?  Thank you.

Thanks Melanie,
After I got your earlier post I went and found the "ttc over 40" group and was so happy to have found it...don't know why I didn't see it before.

I'm getting started on everything late in life.
I will post more about myself on one of the threads

Hi Jenn, I'm currently doing iui with injectables.I've gone  through all of the above. I started with ivf because I had my tubes tied 15 years ago, it didn't work, so I then had 7 embies frozen, but only 1 survived the thaw, they said it was due to my advanced maternal age. It didn't work. I have 3 children but remarried and dh has none. I have a 7.0 fsh and an AMH of 5.6 so thought if I just had my tubes untied maybe I would have a chance! So I am now 10dpiui and 12dp trigger shot and got a positive but I've got mixed reviews so I'm afraid to call it a BFP. Oh, I turned 44 in June.
Good luck with your journey!
Hugs,
Melanie

Hi Melanie,

I'm so glad someone replied!  I feel like the lone wolf.  At least you are 43 - i'm in my late 40's - too embarrassed to say the number ;-).

What does teal mean?  You are doing both iui and ivf?  I have only just begun to ttc needing help...am looking at the place to get ivf done for really older women.  They're not real open-minded here in GA.
I'll keep you in my prayers

Hi, I'm 44 TTC with my own eggs, I'm on my 2nd iui. Had ivf in May, FET in July, teal reversal in September, now on to iui! My beta is Jan 31. I pray this works! Have you done any treatments yet?
