Yeah begin your investigation from ObGyn (if you dont need referral, if oyu do, your primary care will refer you to a ObGyn)
Good luck to you :-)
If that is the case then I would definatley start with your OB. You need to figure out the cause of your irregular periods. Wishing you all the best
Well I haven't been to the doctor about it at all. But I know something is wrong because I skip months of periods and when I do get it I have it for 2-3 months straight. I'm just hoping it's nothing to serious to the point that I can't get pregnant.
It depends on your insurance and how long you have been ttc. If you have been trying over a year, or you have known medical conditions and you do not need a referral then you can go straight to an RE, but if you are otherwise healthy or you have not given this a full year of trying I would see your OB. I am a bit weary of just going to an OB as I was just given clomid for 3 months without any supervision of follow up. Clomid is not a medicaiton that should just be taken without monitoring so if you do go to an OB, make sure you do your homework on treatment advice. After another year of trying after seeing the OB, I just self referred to the RE. Good Luck!
You should go to your obgyn first!
