OvaCue Fertility Monitor???

I was reading some articles on trying to conceive and I came across this OvaCue Fertility Monitor. It's quite expensive but it doesn't require you to keep purchasing test sticks. It tests your saliva for electrolyte changes when you have LH and Estrogen changes pinpointing your ovulation day.

I was wondering if anyone else has heard of this or anyone has any experience and if it really is worth the money?  Most the testimonials on the website say they fell pregnant first cycle they used it.  I just have a hard time believing testimonial from a company site there always going to be great reviews. I want to know if anyone has there own experience with this item.

I found one on Ebay that was only $200 thought about getting it but still don't want to spend that much money.

I have 28DC's so I'm not irregular I chart CM and CD's thats it. I have EWCM every month usually around the same CD either 13th or 14th. We BD CD10-16 and this is our 5th month trying so I am now looking into other options of help. I just don't know if I want to purchase OPKs after reading posts on here about how many women have problems with them.

I've never tried it but if you google "ovacue fertility monitor reviews" I found a lot of websites like MH and others that had mixed reviews, about the best one BUT they all had good things to say about ovacue. There were sites where women said that it told them four days in advance as to when they would ovulate, I didn't read anything that said the woman got pregnant using it, and one said she's been using it for five cycles...in my honest opinion, I wouldn't buy it. That's a lot of money to spend for something you may use for one month and conceive or find out eventually that you need fertility treatment and you've wasted your money. I've spent money on OPKs and don't ever get a positive with them, I'm trying this one last month with them and just stopping charting everything except maybe temps. Your best bet is to just BD from day 8 to AF, that's what I'm doing. Read the post in this forum called "Deanna's plan for TTC" if you haven't already. I know first hand how difficult it can be if you have an irregular AF to know when your TWW starts, mine's always been irregular. It's up to you obviously if you buy it or not, maybe you aren't like me and can afford to spend so much money, but I can't afford it, and honestly if I could I probably wouldn't buy it anyways. It just seems like a waste to me if you can just BD every other day, you're covering your Oday and it's fun. Anyways, that's just my opinion and what I found on OvaCue. Good luck with it if you do buy it, and I hope it works for you.
