Hello!
I am new to this forum and new to TTC!  Yes trying to have my first baby with my man.  He's older (well, older than me), and a former alcoholic, so I anticipate it will be a hard road, though we haven't been trying long.  I'm excited to be a part of this group and happy to lend support to my fellow...TTCers?  Though I'm inexperienced I'm happy to share any tidbits I pick up :)

hi guys, i am a male with a low sperm count. all the doc told me was i had less than 3 million, and not enough to test morphology motility etc. i was gutted to hear this as a child is all i ever wanted. i was later diagnosed with low thyroid. since being treated 2 months ago ive noticed no increase in sperm count but my wife is pregnant. never give up hope, and also dont make the guy feel bad about it. support him as its tough. low sperm isnt the end of the journey. this is the 21st century. if u wanna baby u WILL HAVE ONE EVENTUALYxx love to you all and good luck

Hi,
I'm a mother of a 4 year old and we are TTC for 3 months now, no luck this month, either. It is very frustrating to me, since we conceived DD the first time we tried. I'm bummed today because I was really hoping for a June baby... ;(

My husband and I have been TTC for 8 years now.  I am 30 years old and having a very hard time right now.  I found out in Jan. 10 that I have a blocked right tube, PCOS and I don't always ovulate. I have done 3 rounds of Clomid, but can't do anymore because it makes my lining too thin.  I tried and new drug this month (can't remember the name) but we did IUI 8 days ago and I can't wait to find out if it took.  I go on the 26th for a blood test to see if it did!!  I can't wait.  I hope to learn new things and helpful ideas on how to keep my hopes alive.  Good luck and baby dust to you all!!  Hoping to hear good news soon!!!

Me and my hubby have been TTC since September 09 off and on and just got serious about it Jan' 10. This last cycle I was on 100 mg of clomid. I am now 2 DPO, I think, and I'm praying that this time it will happen!!

Hi all,
We are TTC our second, and it's been a bit of work.  I have a pituitary tumour which requires a medication called Dostinex so that I can ovulate and menstruate.  Because I was breastfeeding our first born son, I could not take this medication or it would have dried me up.  Now that he is 7 months, I have started taking the Dostinex.  for the last 3 months before I thought I would try other methods like Clomid with hCH shot, unfortunately it didn't work.  We are going back to old faithful for Cycle #4.  Hopefully it will work.  When we conceived our son it took us 8 weeks of Dostinex and I was pregnant.  I honestly think that it was fluky but we are crossing our fingers, toes and everything in between for a repeat performance.  Monday morning I am having a hystosonogram (Spelling?) to check for blockages in my tubes.  (Our fertility doctor recommended having the full work up just to make sure nothing has changed after my C-section and that there are no new blockages).
Baby dust to everyone!!

Hey! I'm pretty new to this as well. My husband and I have been married for a year and feel as if we're overdue for a baby. Lol. I've had irregular menstration for a long long time! I finally went to the Doctor to officially TTC, So far I've taken Provera, to just start my period, then a look-see at my follicles on my Fifth day... Clomid 5th-9th days, HSG test yesterday(10th) day, then Doctors Thursday (13th) To see my follicles again and make sure they've matured at all.... I'm hoping to get pregnant this cycle.... It's a lot of work and really nerve wracking... It feels good to have a place to go, to talk about all this! What A Wonderful Forum! Good Luck to us ALL!!!

Hey guys, im hopin for a 2010 baby too! Good luck 2 u all..i had a miscarriage last year...after only TTC for a few days! Lucky i thought until the m/c..anyway! My top tip is after your partner had 'finished' (sorry im new to site and dnt know all the abreviations yet)....lay back with a pillow supporting your hips, it will help to keep those little swimmers from  leaking. It seemed to work for me...=) Good luck! =)

Good Luck and baby dust to you. This is the first month in a long time that my husband and I are going to not think about TTC (well TRY not to think about it.) It pretty much took over my every thought in 2009. I hope this year will be the year that we start a family. Cheers to all of you sisters out there!!!!
