Confused

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since December with no luck.  My last period was April 30 and my cycles were about 27 days.  I haven't had a period since April but 4 negative pregnancy tests.  The doctors told me years ago that i had PCOS so they put me on metformin to help me get pregnant with my daughter.  I went to a specialist who told me that I don't have PCOS because I didn't have many of the symptoms that people have with PCOS.  I'm wondering since I haven't gotten pregnant yet and I'm on day 40 of my cycle right now would it be possible that I have PCOS again or that I've had it all along and the doctor was wrong when he told me I didn't have it?

Yeah I'm normally 27 days and this is my first month where I'm late also.

If you are unsure of PCOS then I would get your doctor to order tests or an ultrasound to check for you. You are normally 27 days right? Is this your first month where you are late? Some women do have an "off" cycle here and there. I had a cycle that lasted about that long too. Wait a few days and test again...if not, you could talk to your doctor.
