what can be causing my teen daughters pain, nausea , and vomiting?

my daughter has been struggling with her symptoms for at least 6 months now but probably even longer....
she is 14 and sexually active this year... she had a very serious case of mono that left her at risk of failing the school year... and the symptoms described above are still a problem...doctors cant find a diagnosis....

Hello~I would take your daughter to another doctor, preferably a gyn and have her checked for STD's, also, it almost sounds like she could be pregnant, or was pregnant, I would certainly check for that as well. In any event, I would do all this as soon as possible to rule out anything serious.

You must get her doctors to rule out the post-mono complications of Splenomegaly (enlarged spleen) resulting in liver dysfunction causing nausea and vomiting.
An  enlarged spleen can also put pressure and cause pain  and other symptoms in the left upper part of the abdomen (near the stomach).
Finally if she's on oral contraceptives, some of the side-effects include abdominal pain and nausea.
Best wishes,
Niko
