I keep having muscle spasms or tremors when I am trying to go to bed.
Now, this isn't every night, but it has been causing problems several times a month.
But this only happens at night, when I am in bed, trying to sleep. I don't get spasms in the middle of the day, (except on occasions so rare that I don't even care; who cares about some one-off random muscle twitch?)
This is making it difficult to sleep on these nights; each time I have a tremor it jolts me awake. Sometimes this triggers a cycle of mental instability because I recognize that I can't fall asleep.
It feels like someone just injects electricity into some random part of my body, often the hips, legs, or back,) and then every muscle around that spot involuntarily contracts and twitches. It's gone in a moment; everything tries to make a quick jolt and then pull back. I don't really have a warning that it's about to happen that I can accurately follow.
But as I said, this is only happening at night when I am in bed. I notice those few times it happens when I'm at work, sitting at my desk; it's so rare its a non-issue, it only happens enough for me to confirm that this isn't just an issue with only noticing them at night.
