Black eye with facial numbness

Suffered a black eye that resulted in double vision for a period of about 10 minutes.  Later it was followed by numbness/tingling of the face.  It almost seems as if the black eye has trouble aligning with the other eye.  I can see ok but it seems weaker, sight wise, and takes a split second sometimes for it to focus with the other eye.  I can feel pressure on the injured eye when I cough, inhale or exhale deeply or blow my nose.  This also causes blurriness.  Any diagnosis would be helpful and much appreciated.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Contusion, shock and edema and abrasion of the eye can result in the symptoms that you are facing. Some numbness and tingling is expected with a black eye as the subcutaneous space is common between eye and cheek. However if the symptoms persist beyond 48 hours please consult your PCP. Applying an icepack and taking anti-inflammatories may help.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
