Buffalo hump???

Does anyone know exactly how a buffalo hump feels? I did a search for it and it says it is a fatty area, so does that mean it is soft? Or does it feel hard?

It should be somewhat squooshy, because it is made up of fat. But the important question is, what other symptoms do you have in combination with it. And you've described classic Cushing's symptoms.

I would think that it would feel more on the soft side because it doesn't contain bones and cartilage (I DON"T THINK)  Maybe it would feel like a tight butt cheek or a swollen body part like if you ever had a sprained ankle or swollen knee (on the side not front of knee) People with cushings disease have a Buffalo hump but also people who are over weight can have on too.  Hope that helped some.
