At my whits end. I can't stop itching!!!!

Hello, my husband, 2 daughters, and I have just moved into a new 2bed 2bath trailer and after a week of living here I have had uncontrollable itching. Its all over and im taking benadryl at night and drowning my self in benadryl cream and that doesnt even touch it. I dont know that to do! My husband and our girls are fine, they dont itch at all. But I have hives all ovef my arms and on my lower back down to my ankles. Im a CNA and i wash all my own scrubs and ive used the same detergent forever. The only things im allergic to that gives me hives is carbide in metal and powder form and sulfa drugs. I have year round allergies but its never given me hives and benadryl always helped with it. I havent gone to the doctor because my insurance dropped me because I make too much money with my new job and my job doesnt offer benefits. On top of it i also have graves disease and i take methemazole for it but ive never had a reaction to it. If anyone has any input id be so grateful and im willing to try ANYTHING to make this go away!!!

Hello~You say it is a new mobile home? Well, the problem might in the home itself. Many of them have formaldehyde in the walls and carpets, you may be having an allergic reaction to some type of chemical in the home.

I would see an allergist and ask to have some chemical allergy panels run, this is usually just some blood work. I would be willing to bet it has to do with the home and not anything else.

i would check around the seams of your beds and look for little black dots. It could be possible that when you moved in to you new trailer it already had beds living there. If that is the case than you will need to call in a exterminator.
