burning on shaft of penis after sex

This starts while having sex especially afterwards the shaft of my penis starts to burn until I wash it off immediately after sex. Afterwards I get dry spots of skin in this area. Lube doesn't make it better or worse...the sex itself makes it start to burn....this just started to happen after being together for 2 years. Girlfriend feels some burning after sex also. Also on my pubic area a couple weeks ago I had pimple like sores or ingrown infected hair follicles???? Idk help!

I know its been a few weeks since you posted but I wanted to give you my story of what happened to me with this situation.

Both my boyfriend and I would get a burning itching sensation, especially after sex, and going to the bathroom. Even hurt to wash in the shower. I talked to my doctor and he explained to me that we were giving eachother a yeast infection/ jock itch. One would start to heal and the other would get it and give it back. We were passing it back and forth to each other. He told us to get clotrominzole and apply 2 times a day, He prescribed me diflucan and a cream for my boyfriend. We couldn't have sex for a few days until our symptoms were cleared. After a few weeks the symptoms came back. We went back to the doctor and he examined our feet. Apparently my boyfriend had athlete's foot and when he put his boxers on the fungus would get on his boxers and go on his penis. Then he would transfer the fungus to me during sex so this is what we did to fix the problem.

Clotrominzole 2 times a day on penis/vagina after washing

foot spray for athlete's foot 2 times a day on both people

put socks on before boxers/panties

this made our sex life 100 times better in about 2 weeks. I hope it helps you and your situation

Take care

You both have a fungal infection called Thrush.

The doctor can prescribe medication for your both, or you can purchase from the pharmacy, Fluconazone 150mg which is a single dose oral capsule.  Also creams specifically made for genital thrush is also available to purchase from the pharmacy without a prescription - of course these will not be as strong as the doctor can prescribe.

Applying natural set yogurt to the genital area after you have washed and dried it gently will also help.

Do not wear tight and nylon clothing, and do not use normal soaps, these dry the area and can destroy the skins pH level.  Non perfumed soaps should be fine, soaps with a pH to suit our skin or baby washes are fine too.

Best wishes.
