Thanks for your reply.  Blood pressure is good with meds.  130/80.  Have been under the care of a cardiologist who modified the meds.  Also had a whole rack of blood tests.  The only thing they said was I'm now a diabetic!  But nobody can figure out why the dizziness is so bad and continual.  Now they've (finally) getting me scheduled for an MRI and sending me to an ENT.  Lets see what they have to say.  I'm 50 years old, male, and 400lbs.  On the list for bariatric procedure.  Dr.s all say this will help with every symptom.  However, don't want to stroke out before this gets done!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The first thing that needs to be done is consult your cardiologist and assess your blood pressure. Either it is going too low with medication or it is too high. Also the heart condition you have could have worsened or a new condition could have developed. Mitral valve prolapsed and pulmonary hypertension are the two other causes that need to be investigated. You need complete cardiac check up along with blood pressure and anti-hypertensive drug (pills you are taking for your blood pressure) monitoring. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

Hello,
I agree with LivingInHope as far as the possibilities and I just want to add a thought or two..
Are you BLONDE?,  Sorry, that just came out....I am... and have been dizzy on and off for the last 14 years.....The causeation for mine was a chemical exposure of long term duration that caused systemic breakdown of immune system and in that were thryoid abnormalities and to this point I know the exposure caused, immune system, blood issues, hypoxia that caused cholesterol to go wacko and the thyroid to bounce back and forth between hyper and hypo....Now GRAVES...and now the triggers for these systems to go wacko again....simple smells and the dizziness (vertigo) has followed in and out the whole time....ALL you mentioned and more was what in my case came from toxic exposure first to natural gas for 3 1/2 years and then things were re-activated when I moved into a place that I did not know at the time, but later found mold growing....THIS IS MY THIRD COMEBACK FROM DEATH IN THE LAST 14 YEARS.......I was gray!...no...not the Hair.....well ....okay....A FEW of the strands, but my color was gray....If you want to read more about it I can give you my website address....I do not sell anything!!! Just ask and I can provide it Backstage here in a personal message as I can not post it right here in this forum

What is your blood pressure and heart rate like on the medications?  Sometimes, the wrong medicine for you individually can cause nasty side effects.  I recommend you talk with the doctor prescribing these medications about your symptoms.  They may want to run some tests to make sure you are not having circulatory issues that need to be treated in a different way, but also, they may want to adjust the medications they have you on to ones that might be a better fit for your body.  Also, have you had your ferritin (iron stores) and blood iron checked lately?  Low iron (even if it hasn't affected a complete blood count yet) still can cause symptoms (experience).  Some symptoms of iron deficiency are poor concentration, headache, light headedness, rapid heart rate, fatigue, and cold extremities.  See PM for more info.

Also, if the dizziness is the spinning variety, I'd recommend you book an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist and ask for vestibular testing.
