Fever of unknown origin

I have what the doctors have been calling a fever of unknown origin. This is the third time in six years I have a fever with no other symptoms, except for headache. This has put me in the hospital twice for two weeks each time and ICU once because fever got to 105.0. Two days ago it jumped to 104.8 with severe left arm pain from the neck all the way down to my wrist, called 911 in the ER I had no heart attack and as the fever dropped so did the arm pain. Bloodwork negative white cells normal, pee normal, ct scan normal, xrays normal, nuclear scan did not find anything. The last time in in ER was sent home with script for Tamiflu. Question could a cyst on my back just below my neck on the left side possible cause any of this. It has never been looked at and I have told them about it many times.
