Having quite a bit of issues.

Since last week I have noticed my throat has been sore and swollen. I've been having chest pains and a hard time breathing. My throat feels so dry and like it's closing up. I am really dizzy and shakey, also I have been getting cold sweats. I am freezing, but sweating at the same time. I have back and neck pain and I am very tired. Once in awhile my stomach gets upset and I feel like I need to vomit, but nothing. Does anyone know what this is? I'm going to see the doctor soon.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It could be a streptococcal infection or a viral infection. Take anti-inflammatory analgesics, anti-allergics and see if it helps. However, even while you take them please consult your PCP immediately. Drink plenty of warm fluids such as herbal tea, soups, warm lemonade etc. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.  Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
