blood in semen

Hi,
Three days back when i woke up, I found that my trouser is wet and when I went to bathroom, 2-3 drops of bloodish coloured semen (I guess it is semen as it is looking like that) have gone out. I consulted a physician and he prescribed me a urine test which was perfect. He prescribed me some antibiotics, a tablet to stop bleeding and some alkeline powder to solve in water and drink. Next night also I found that I ahve ejaculated during sleep, but i didnt find the strange substance which i found in previous day.
Third night again this happened and i found 1-2 drops of the bloodish colured semen. But, i dont have any pain and my urine is very clear and i can pee without any pain. So, i understood that it is related to semen ejaculation. To confirm this, third day morning i mastrubated, everything gone well, but after 1 or 2 minutes i found 1 or 2 drop sof that mesterious substance (may be semen with blood. this exactly looks and behaves like honey).
Any advice on this is highly appreciated and many thanks in advance.

once I was prescribed Ciprofloxacin , it's the most common antibiotic for testicular infections. I had mild epididimitis. I never took the antibiotic because I found out after the problem was on the skin outside. sperm test in fact was negative.

you should do a sperm test and urine test. Cipro. is a strong antibiotic but very commonly used

Hi,
As the follow up of the above issue, I have consulted a urologist and after some rectal examination and all he said that my prostate is just fine and nothing to worry about the discharge. It is the residue of the semen from the previous ejaculation which is coming out. He prescribed no medicines at all.
But, since the discharge is happening evrytime after urination, I consulted another urologist for a second opinion. After seeing my penis and testis, he also told me that there is nothing abnormal and the discharge is a usaul one. But, he prescribed me the following medicine.
1. Ciprobay 500
2. Permixon 80
But, from various resources I found that there are so many serious side effects with these medicines which can be fatal sometime. Yesterday only i have consulted the doctor and today i will again go to him to get the urine analysis report which he prescribed yesterday. I didnt start taking the medcine till now.
Anyone, please advice me whether should i take this medicine even though any infection is not yet confirmed. Is there any complications if I am taking these medicines. I am male aged 27.
Any advice on this is highly appreciated and many thanks in advane.

the condition of blood in semen is called "Hematospermia"

what is your age? have you been exposed to STDs?

the problem is more likely to originate in the Prostate rather than the testicles. strange that you don't experience any pain at all.

Your GP should have referred you to a specialist, Urologist.

if the problem persists you should see a Urologist. related tests would be a full pelvic ultrasound scan, bladder, prostate, testicles. semen analysis.

the old Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) Test could give indication on a enlarged prostate.

hello... i really think that you should consult another physician because this can be something really serious, ( i don't mean to scare you) but it seems like the Dr. you said you went to has no idea what he or she is doing... and just to let you know i am not a Dr.( i'm an awakening coach) i am just trying to give you the best advice i can given your circumstances and things that i know...But i definitely think that a second or even third opinion is in order here... i wish i had some more info for you, good luck!
