I've wrote to almost every forum at medhelp.  Please help me!!!!  I started out with body pains, fatigue, and constipation.  I'm very sick and nobody knows what's going on.  I've been hospitalized because of this several times.  I've even had a psyc consult while in the hospital to see if I am doing this to myself.  I was cleared.  I've had all kind of test and all of them are neg.  My skin is red all over my body, my left hand swells, and my right hand has almost a tan color to it.  My back and neck hurt on the right side.  My right ear has this buzzing in it.  My heart pounds in my chest and my pulse and BP are irreagular.  When the sun touches me for more than a minute I get welps all over.  The muscles all over my body twich all the time.  One minute I freezing and the next I'm soked in sweat.  My hair all over my body is thinning out and 2 toe nails have fallen off.  I've lost 40 pounds since december.  I'm scared to fall asleep because I don't know if my heart will stop.  I'm a 33 yr old female.  Please help me.  Doctors have tested me for everything almost.  If you can help me please let me know.  I get worse everyday.

I've watched a lot of "mysterdy diagnosis" episodes on discovery health.  They are people just like you that have had every test under the sun and still can't get a diagnosis.  I've seen a lot of episodes where patients couldn't find what was wrong with them and then the right Doctor found them to have an "immuno deficiancy disease".  They end up taking an immune suppressant because their immune system attackds their body for no reason.  There are a lot of diseases out there with this.

Start watching mystery diagnosis because you'll learn a lot about people in the same boat as you.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Falling toe nails are usually due to fungus, hypothyroidism, and anemia. Since you have been tested for almost everything maybe a fungal infection should be ruled out.
Buzzing or tinnitus is only on one side. “Causes of unilateral tinnitus could either be serious or not.  A simple case of impacted ear wax causes unilateral tinnitus.  Usually when a person complains of tinnitus, it is the presence of excessive ear wax that is checked on first.  But in case there is indeed presence of impacted ear wax, never attempt to try a self-removal of the ear wax because it might do a more serious damage to your ears.  It is better to have a physician remove the ear wax.
Other causes of unilateral tinnitus can be the presence of acute ear infections, but some medications that a person with ear infections are using specifically antibiotics might be ototoxic and may also cause unilateral tinnitus.  Other drugs that have been identified as ototoxic are anti-depressants, analgesics, anti-depressants, anti-inflammatories, diuretics, ibuprofen, anti-malarials, oral contraceptives and chemotherapy.  Traumatic head injuries are also identifies as causes of unilateral tinnitus since there have been victims involved in vehicular accidents who complain of sudden onset of tinnitus.
Stress may not be pointed as direct causes of unilateral tinnitus but it can aggravate a present case of tinnitus.  A salty diet, high caffeine intake, too much alcohol, too much fat and nicotine will also aggravate a tinnitus case.” Refer: http://tinnituscause.com/unilateral-tinnitus-causes.html
Apparently you are allergic to sun too. Vitamin D deficiency too should be looked into.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. I’ll post if something else comes to my mind. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
