Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Well, the brain thyroid levels are TSH. TSH is raised in hypothyroidism. A high TSH with normal blood thyroid hormones (T3 and T4) means a subclinical hypothyroidism. In such a setting, Hashimotos’s thyroiditis should be tested for which is an autoimmune disorder. Also the tests should be repeated after 3 months. As of now you may not need treatment.
Dizziness can be due to brain tumor, MS. However, it can also be due to pinched cervical spinal nerves, anemia (probably ruled out now), hypoglycemia (probably ruled out now), low or high blood pressure, acidity, ENT problems and PCOS. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Hi , reading your post,i think you mean your TSH, which is a piturity gland is high, and maybe your T4 or T3, is normal which is the thyroid hormone levels are normal.
If your TSH is looking a bit high, then this would indicate you would be hypo instead of hyper, the TSH usually goes high in HYPO and low in HYPER.
But however your thyroid levels look normal,
You are right to re-test, in 3 months, as you your TSH might be normal then, and no treatment will be required.
You would have to have a MRI brain scan to diagnose MS or a Brain tumour.
I dont think the blood tests youve had would be able to tell you if youve a brain tumour or MS
Hope this helps you, but im no doctor, so maybe your GP should be your first port off call
Take care.
