My heart stopped?

I have no idea, it just stopped for 5-7 seconds, I was watching a movie, i got up to go use the bathroom and my heart just stopped, I felt it literally stop in my chest, I fell over hit my head pretty hard on the ground and I wet my pants and stopped breathing the whole time but I was still awake. I felt the whole thing happen, when it started again I was gasping for air and shaking like crazy staring up. I'm only 17, last time I checked 17 year old's don't have freaking heart attacks out of nowhere?

I eat pretty healthy, work out for an hour or more a day, I'm not over weight or under. My parents weren't home at the time and in the past when I have told my mother about something wrong with me she never believed me and I feel she wouldn't believe my heart stopped. I mean I cant really believe it myself, it literally just stopped beating. I was eating popcorn with the movie but I don't think that's the reason it happened.

I will tell my parents for sure but I don't want to go to the hospital and have them say it was nothing and then be sent home, I don't have time for stuff like that with exams coming up, and I'm not under a lot of stress, schools easy for me I don't see a reason to stress over nothing.

You might have long Q-T syndrome.  You should be checked out.

Many people have this problem with their parents doubting them.  Do you see a pediatrician?  You should get an appointment and banish your mom from the room and tell the doctor if you really don't think she'll listen.
