Long Term Brain and Nervous System Disfunction After use of Alcohol

4 days ago I drank about 3/4 of a bottle of wine and then went to a football game.  This was only my second time being full-blown drunk, but after my buzz should have worn off I kept feeling a slight buzz, which I feel up to this moment.  Although it has not affected my memory, I feel slightly uncoordinated, and I cant register the sense of touch in the same way before I got drunk. My mind has a constant feeling of disorientation. Otherwise I am and have been in perfectly good health.

Will these effects wear off? Im starting to get worried since this is the 4th day since Ive been feeling like this. Is there any solution?

Thank you very much,
Tom

You should get your liver evaluated if your symptoms persist. Have you eaten properly? That can make you light headed if you dont eat properly.

The only thing that comes to my mind is, I don't want to scare you, but Lyme disease causes this type of reaction to alcohol.  Try going to www.Lymenet.org and look at the symptom list there.  Another think could be due to maybe if you were taking medication, maybe and antidepressant. Just a thought.  Take care!!
